LAVAL, CANADA - December 5, 2005 - Lavalys today announced the 2.50 release of EVEREST Corporate Edition, the world's leading tool for managing and securing IT infrastructures through network audit, diagnostics, inventory, change management, benchmarking and network monitoring.
EVEREST Corporate Edition 2.50 provides a new advanced File Scanner configuration that allows IT administrators to do precision scanning of the selected folders of their choice for software audit and license management. This time-saving feature allows the user to skip the scanning of typical embedded folders like Program Files, Windows, C:\ drive and other folders when necessary. The new release also features the new "at-a-glance" CPUID panel included in the recent EVEREST Ultimate Edition 2006 version 2.50. The panel offers a consolidated summary view of key system information on CPU, motherboard, RAM and chipsets.
