I'm using Everest ultimate to measure CPU temp amongst other things but had a questions as if it seems accurate?

It says CPU temp is 57 but all the cores are 29 that doesn't seem right to me? whats going on here? My CPU is water cooled so it shouldn't be that hot, should it? :confused:

What is the CPU temp in your bios. The CPU temp is generally the CPU socket temperature.

Give me a moment and I'll report back with that info. ;)

Report back as to what your core temps are showing in both RealTemp and Coretemp(specifically version 0.99.3)

@erocker

Amen to that!

BIOS shows CPU temp at 40c or 104F

Doesn't your motherboard vendor provide you with a temperature software?

Probably, but I don't want to use that. I do most of my OCing in the bios so its usually not need, however i do use things like prime95 and amd overdrive for testing and confirming results.
