EVGA and NVIDIA Design Unique Multi-GPU Graphics Accelerator

If it were free (as in i won it somehow) i would have just for the unique factor. Other than that its a waste of power and $$$.

This only proves that Nvidia has no Fermi ready yet if they are desperate enough to have to waste money on product development like that. Oh my...

while kind of sucky, I also have to say it is kind of cool. What would be cooler maybe is to force the g92 to be used for physix and other things. Perhaps some driver can do that for them...

The ULTIMATE Nvidia fan boys card....

....is ASUS MARS dual-GTX285. If you're still willing to spend $1200 for that, you must have some very deep-rooted affection for Jensen.

two MARS in SLI and this for physx

Funny enough, G200b has lower idle power draw than G92b due to its power states.

Which it is make sense that G92b chip will be the primary display while GT200b chip will be the PhysX acceleration chip.

Oh wai-

That would be when you need to retire from life, and come down to India for some Haré Krishna service.

Two MARS cards and a GTX285 for Physx :D

I'd keep one if I got it for free, sounds 'cool', but screw paying for one.

Wait doesnt g200 have a built in physx section?

teh lame

Honestly I dunno what that is all about, I assume the drivers are able to dedicate groups of 24 sp's at a time (1 cluster in GT200) to Physx.

what wolf said, is the case.

it hardly affects performance at all, using a second GPU for it is pointless.

this entire GPU is an exercise in futility - its like strapping a jet engine to a donkey to make it go faster, but not bother to include fuel - or something to be transported

what..no DX11 yet......

In other news ... EVGA has made the worlds fastest donkey ...

3 mars. 2 SLI one PhysX

They can send it to me; October 30th is mah birthday.

This is an absolute novelty you ever seen two different GPU mixed on a single PCB? I never seen before !

Do you believe this can beat the GTX 295?

Fermi is still far I would get one as Christmas gift.

the 285 classified rocks, the point is too little too late, I think Nvidia should have let board partners make non reference 280/285/295 from the get-go.

3:30 am lol

Thats the way we roll, I'm watching Star Trek and TPU-in' :D
