Eyefinity Setup... Issues.

Hey,

Got me some issues. First off, what i have:

MSI HD6870
2x Acer P223W (DVI and VGA)
1x Acer X223W (VGA only)
1x Toshiba 40" 1080p (HDMI)

I have the VGA in the middle and the DVI's either side. Then the Toshiba is on the wall to the left. I have no intention of including this in the eyefinity setup, it's just there for movies.

Now, i seem to be experiencing issues with getting them all to display correctly. I have them all hooked up:

2x Acer P223W (DVI and VGA) via DVI to HDMI cables then HDMI to DVI adapters at the monitors.
1x Aver X223W (VGA Only) via Mini-DP to DVI then DVI-VGA converter, then VGA cable to the monitor.
1x Toshiba 40" 1080p (HDMI) via HDMI cable.

At the moment, only the right display is showing with no task bar and i can't see CCC or Windows Screen Resolution.

What the hell is happening. Ideas?

Ok, just rebooted and switched some cables. I now have all 3 showing. Left and Right are perfect. But the middle one (that im typing on now) has blurring.

Do all the video cables have ferrites on them? I've seen plenty of blurry displays at work that were due to the cables not having filters on them.

The DVI monitors are now perfect.

The VGA monitor has like a wind effect on images. Like their slightly repeated to their right... Getting dimmer.

I'll try swapping the cable.

don't you need an "active" displayport to DVI adapter somewhere?

You need at least 1 Active mini DP to DVI or HDMI adapter somewhere in there. Two if you want to have 4 monitors.

Ok, Got the Eyefinity working. Tried BFBC2 and L4D2, both fine (except my motion sickness...).

X223W still blurry :(

in the description.

is the monitor in the correct resolution?

perhaps the problem is with all the adaptors on the VGA cable.

Are you using an active display-port adapter and did you get all 4 monitors working?

I've read that some people haven't needed an active adapter to make it work.

AFAIK it only needs to be "active" for digital connections vga/analogue should not have this problem.
