im selling my e6700 to get another q6600. this chip is great. i haven't overclocked it very far. it has ran @3.6 for a little over an hour just for benchmarks. other than that, i've run it @3.2 for 3 months, no problems. i have lapped the IHS all the way up to 3000 grit and then polished with rubbing compound. you can see your reflection clear as glass. it will come to you in the retail box with the stock cooler. i purchased it 5/14/07 from newegg.

E6700 $180

will trade for a q6600+$$ if anyone wants to let go of there quad.

it would definitely be beneficial to take a few pics since it's lapped, especially ones that show off the finish :)

By the rules of the FS forum you are required to have a picture, with your name handwritten in the picture. You also need to have a Heatware account. Shipping information is also missing. Being that it is lapped we will need some sort of proof it is an e6700. Get all of that information on here and it should sell with ease.

$5 SHIPPING. sorry for the bad pics... my camera sucks. i used 800-3000grit 3m sandpaper and then used rubbing compound to finish. it looks almost like daave's e6600 that he has/had for sale.

Take a pic of the E6700 box, that would make this way more convincing.

Did the lapping get you any better results with overclocking?
Why go to a E6750 btw?

before lap i could get 3.5 stable now 3.7 is stable at same voltage. temps are also the same.
e6750... just want something new/different to play with.

Because of the 1333 FSB those chips are overclocked out of the box.
You are better of with a 1066 FSB chip if you are planning to oc the thing.
Q6600 will fit you perfect.:toast:
