Hello, lately I started to receive this error whenever I turn on/restart my PC. I tried to reinstall it but the error still pops up.

Anything special about your PC? Very old, few cores?

Hello, no nothing new - Ryzen 5 3600, Geforce 2070, 32gb RAM. But lately I don't know if there was some Win update which caused this or anything but it started to pop up this error. I uninstalled GPU-Z, also removed any registry records and tried clean install. No change.

Can you please give us a screenshot of winver, plus one of the Windows OS About screen, as shown in Windows OS Settings?

Any Windows OS theme, GUI modification tools used?
Such as -- Windows Blinds, Start10, Classic Shell, RocketDock, Fences, Rainmeter, OldNewExplorer or similar? :)

Have you changed Windows UAC settings to something other than the default?

I'm not him but I'm also getting this error lately after a reboot. Apparently GPU-Z is trying to create a tray icon BEFORE Explorer has fully loaded. Might have started happening after a recent Windows update, or perhaps because I was (literally) forced to update Asus Armory Crate recently.

Default UAC settings. Windows 10 Version 20H2 Build 19042.1052

Edition Windows 10 Home
Version 20H2
OS build 19042.1052

Everything is default, and it seems as @JcRabbit said "Apparently GPU-Z is trying to create a tray icon BEFORE Explorer has fully loaded".

I know this is quite complex, but could a delayed startup task work, like this?

Disable automatic startup of GPU-Z in GPU-Z Settings first, then do this to add a task for GPU-Z to start with delayed start:
(set the delay to minimum, i.e. 30 secs -- if not working, up to 1 minute)

Please tell me how it goes. :)

I tried those instructions but nothing happened. Plus I tried both installed version and portable version of GPU-Z.
