BTW, just tried the option of informing the BoS about The Institute's plan with the reactor, and it did actually trigger the Defend the Castle quest. It was an epic battle against The Institute's heavies. Plus Preston informed me Sturges found a secret non teleport way into their labs, so this is much better than Railroad's ending.

Fallout 4 mod support put off until April. Guess they're planning to make as much off the DLC before people get in and make better content.

By mod support Todd means creation kit, right? Because the are already over 8,000 mods even without the CK on The Nexus.

Of course that's nothing compared to the top dog Skyrim (over 46,000) but still a good testament to what people can do even without the official tools.

Yeah, they're referring to "Official Mod Support", as they don't expect the support to be available for the consoles for another month-ish.

And the last great thing that was PC-exclusive will fall to the ground in another month: Modding. So sad.

My only solace is that consoles will not have the strength to have craploads of really intensive mods (and no, I'm not talking about texture mods) that fundamentally add alot into the game and vvastly increase the game engine workload.

yeah with amd apu's they might just run out of computation before they run out of texture capability.

Yes, that is the general consensus elsewhere I've been chatting, that GECK is probably being delayed until the DLC sells a reasonable amount. I see no problem with that really.

Also, tons of info stripped out from the data files regarding the upcoming "Survival mode" here.

Such gems as

- You can no longer manually save the game, or even quicksave. To save you must find a bed, and sleep in it.
- You take and deal more damage to enemies. Enemies no longer appear on your compass. Companions will not auto-revive.
- Fast Travel is completely disabled. If you want to get somewhere, you’ll have to walk.
- You can contract disease that must be cured, lest it affect your SPECIAL stats. You can now be fatigued from a lack of food, water or sleep, which will affect your AP.
- Ammo now has weight to it. Bullets will weigh little, but bigger items like missiles and mini-nukes will be quite heavy indeed. Also, now when you’re overburdened, it can hurt your stats and your health.

bought the season pass. cant wait for dlc's going through and leveling up higher because like an idiot i didn't realize i could skip tiers in the perks when you level up so I have been going one tier at a time. then i realized the science perk was available and was like crap! but whatever still plenty to do to level up. going through finding unfound areas and vaults

Hey guys, I've read you can get a scenario with waves of 3 different factions attacking in the Defend the Castle (Super Mutants, BoS, and Institute), but I always get only Institute attacking, even if BoS is my enemy too before starting it.

Has anyone here done this quest with all those factions attacking in waves? If so, how did you set it up?

Can the Cambridge Polymer Lab quest get bugged?
I did the polymer coating on the armor, found the alternative way to leave the building, everybody's dead no enemies inside the entire building. I can't find Molly anywhere, not even her remains...
But the quest keeps staying amongst my unfinished ones. I can't figure out how to finish it, or even how to fail it!

Btw, inside the same building, do you know if this door can be opened from somewhere? I checked all terminals...

Not sure if theres a legit way to trigger this kind of attack in the game. But there is a mod file for this kind of thing, I found it quite entertaining for a while. I also enjoyed the unlimited artillery range mod

I ended up escaping via the alt method, but I had to kill Molly because she turned hostile. Did you pick up the armor you created btw?

As for the door, I don't recall, been a while since I played that part of the game.

I had entered that place for another quest (Railroad? Not sure). I remember Molly making me a janitor. Then I don't know what happened, it was long game-hours ago.

Yesterday I was going through my unfinished quests, and found the Cambridge one there. I entered Cambridge, everyone was dead, Molly nowhere to be found, not even her spare parts. I don't remember what happened to her...

I did everything necessary and got that piece of armor, but the quest didn't progress at all - neither done nor failed.

I read that to progress the quest Molly has to take you to speak to the director (who is hostile). But my Molly is nowhere to be seen, and I killed the director a long time ago!

Just wondering love the game and want more! got the season pass when i bought the game because ever since fallout one i have been vault dweller lol.

I'm reminded of the several times Dogmeat falls off of an overpass, or building, and you hear the "yelp!!" which means he's "down".... Guess that means a lot more stim packs, or a lot more "Stay!!"

Only time I use Stimpaks on Meat, is when I know he's gone down because I wasn't quick enough to take out his attacker when I know I could have. If he's done something clumsy, I just wait for him to recover. I don't recall ever seeing him go down from a fall though, but I tend to travel routes that are easy for him to follow.
