Johnathan "Fatal1ty" Wendel, the world's best known PC gamer, and Fusion-io join up at the Fatal1ty E3 booth to launch the ioXtreme, a solid state storage device for high-performance PCs and workstations using 64 bit operating systems. The ioXtreme eliminates application latency, delivering the kind of storage performance once limited to the world's fastest supercomputers.
Drawing from Fusion-io's industry-leading solid-state technologies, the ioXtreme is a PCI Express card that sits on the system bus filling the performance gap between RAM and disk drives. It adds 80 GB of non-volatile capacity, exponentially accelerating input and output, including file access, and improving application performance dramatically.




"The ioXtreme supercharges high-end PCs and workstations. the guys great im not hating. I just... I just got gigaworks T40 II speakers and there awsome i thought id check out whatelse creative made in headphones... EVERYTHING had that ugly logo on the side of it... i think its cool a player can "get a shoe" in the gaming world but after a while gosh lol lets all take a break. Yes, I've heard the "brand" name quite a few times used by some company to try and help them sell mainboards, but TBH, I've no idea why people would by a mainboard because some gamer (who didnt us it) just sold his "name" for branding purposes. What exactly did this guy do? Was he good at playing games? Minesweeper or something?

IMO, the "best known" PC gamer is either that German kid who smashed his keyboard in a temper tantrum, or that Asian guy who died in an internet cafe due to playing 48hrs in a row (or more) without taking a break for food or sleep.

Who do you think is the best known PC gamer? Any other people come to mind?

The thing is, none of this hardware has ANYTHING to do with how he won. if stuff was going to be branded, it should only be hardware he used to win.

He is a master at twitch gaming. His endorsement doesn't make a product better.... it just makes money.

I have a fatal1ty set of OCZ RAM because it was on sale for really cheap after rebate. It was cheaper than the standard version with the same speed and timings so I bought it.

People usually buy his endorsed products because they think it looks cooler with the color schemes they use. I personally care more about how something performs instead. But I think many people have purchased one thing over the other because they liked the styling more. Just look at the average car buyer for example. Its marketing at its core which moves that niche market, and often times sideways from performance advances.
