hi all i run my own plumbing and heating company i have a main pc in the office that i do some paper work on but i also use a panasonic toughbook cf-30 for when im at work.

is there a way i can access the paperwork from my home pc from my laptop when im out the office?

ie a hard drive i can connect to the internet and log onto with my laptop?

I use WinSCP, you can take a look at that. Plenty of other (better) options out there.

You can use Dropbox or google drive as well.

EDIT: If you have Office 2010 you can use Microsoft Upload Center.

you could also set up some kind of FTP server and log into that.
