According to this report, Hollywood companies are preparing to sue operators of BitTorrent and eDonkey tracking servers. Last year the industry fought against Kazaa, Morpheus, Grokster and others - the users went to BitTorrent and eDonkey.
The tracking servers do not exchange any copyrighted material, they are merely used to manage the connections between the connected clients of the server. That is why many people think the sueing is not going to work.
