First time build - Could use feedback before I make the purchase

Hello! So I have just finished making my build and it's my first time. I don't know much about PCs so I based a lot of choices on feedback/suggestions from people on forums and reddit, and availability + price in my country (Philippines)

**You'll notice that the prices may be higher than what you would expect and this would likely be due to the higher prices of computer parts here in my country. I would definitely be able to get a better build for this price if I were in North America

Looks really good, but I'm confused on the fans. The case supports 6 and comes with 3, why buy 6 more? The two you have listed aren't compatible with each other. The stock and ID Cooling fans should both plug into the motherboard's RGB controls, but the PC Coolers are standalone and will do their own thing.

To replace crap stock case fans with decent ones.

Your cooling system is as loud as the weakest link.

Don't spend $440 on a 6750XT, go for a 4070 or a 4060 Ti.

Rest is fine, but you should really be buying a 5600X3D/5800X3D if buying into AM4 this late.

TBH you can get 3600/16 32 GB memory for that price too.

Avoid the "PC Cooler HALO FRGB 72 CFM 120 mm Fans 3-Pack" fans, at 3 for $10 they're going to be crap, I'd also caution against buying into RGB fans in this price range, cheap fans can be good, cheap RGB fans are almost never good.

I would also go for at minimum a 750 W PSU, this will allow future upgrades to GPU.

I would first consider what games you'll be playing. There are some good YouTube channels that compare different hardware benchmarks in a lot of different games: Hardware Unboxed, Gamers Nexus, Techtesters, Daniel Owen, etc. Some games heavily favor Nvidia over AMD and vice versa and that should play into your choice IMO.

I know most things are personal preference.............however condsider this cooler..........it will help with VRM cooling as well. Noctua-NH-C14S-Premium-Cooler-NF-A14

I have had 2 focus gold PSUs dynamite on me..............maybe just bad luck?

General note - look for ssd with at least 5yr warranty.

Unfortunately the price difference is around $90 for me which is sadly out of my budget. I also don't plan to upgrade anytime soon so I think it will be okay

Yes unfortunately the price difference is massive for me. The GPU I am getting is $425. The price range for the 4070 is $720-$1080 huhu

Hey everyone! I was wondering if for my build, would there be any major difference between the 5700x I originally intended to get and an Ryen 5 5600? A friend of mine said that since I'm mostly just gonna be gaming that I could save money by going for the 5600 and it wouldn't really have any effect on performance?

+1 for AM5 build, upgrade path is important, the AM4 is still viable but its getting old and no for the 4060 series from nvidia... they are terribly priced

Speaking of processors, would a 5600 be basically just as good as the 5700x for my build? I was told there was no noticeable difference for gaming between these 2 processors for my build (6750xt + 1440p 144hz monitor)

alright say 2-3 years down the line, i think amd wouldn't be selling the 5800x3d cpus anymore and op has to resort to second hand which is a risk that he has to take...
i understand am5 is more expensive but it depends on which boards you pick.. 7600 is not expensive and DDR5 ram prices have dropped significantly.. its not more expensive by a big margin...
but its up to op... i still think am5 is the way to go for brand new

Yes it ultimately boils down to what you'd prefer, risk vs reward although I will add that the CPU is probably the least risky "second hand" PC component you can buy. They're basically tanks relatively speaking wrt most other components in there, they either work or they don't & any damage is usually easy to check.

3600mb/s RAM
a 6700XT which is often MUCH cheaper.
and some Arctic P12/P14 fans which are cheaper as well.
the rest is pretty decent.

I checked that monitor out and unfortunately it is out of my budget as it is $125 more expensive in my country.

The ram is actually 3600, the one on the chart I posted is a mistake haha

Yeah I tried for a 6700xt but AMD units are not as readily available here And the ones I found from reliable vendors are around the same price as the 6750XT. It's a struggle haha

This is an ongoing conversation here on TPU. You have the right attitude towards approaching regional differences in availability and pricing.

Branding is one the limiting factors in the core Western countries. It doesn't get said often enough that if you can find similar (or better) quality items made in the same one or two factories everything seems to come from. There is no reason to avoid these products if you are capable of assessing and monitoring their behaviors. Another limiting factor in branded products is they are increasingly made worse in order to avoid legal issues resulting from acts of idiocy.
