I never saw the point in benchmarking games at resolution you don't play it. Unless I'm submitting it for a record, I don't waste my time on stuff that gives me no real world gains.

sorry to pop your overclocking bubble lol. Only reason to OC memory is for personal system gain or submitting to HWbot.
DLSS/FSR ;) Quite helpful in for instance Cyberpunk and some other demanding titles.

You have a good point. Those render at lower resolutions and upscale. For NVIDIA at least its every other frame.

Dlss and fsr work on every single frame to upscale a lower resolution

frame generation insert a fake frame every other frame

Latest bios finally let me boot over 3600, currently have 4000 stable and tunned.
I have a fan coming today for active cooling.
What should I do push frequancy with current timings or stay at 4000 and try get tighter primarys ?

Reading thread in general, I know you're running a i5 but, my i9-13900KS really likes low SA voltage. It's quite possible that all this time you were butting heads with your system, you were having crashes because your SA was set to a stratospheric 1.35... are you still using that much voltage? I'm on DDR5, but for 6400 CL30 it was enough to use just 1.1 V for SA. At more relaxed timings, SA voltage actually needs to decrease, at CL34 from my XMP kit the sweet spot is around 0.9. More or less lead to crashes in both cases :)

Honestly at the point you are, further gains from tweaking your memory any further would be academic at best. Only tightening your secondaries and tertiaries to perfection you would see any meaningful difference in benchmarks, you're not going to see any real world improvements from there on out, DDR5 may help you eke out a little more but, at that point you're looking at a new motherboard and a new memory kit. Just enjoy your rig for what it is, man.

And yeah still at 1.3 sa ( that’s the hardware info reading) and 1.375 vddq

will stress at 1.2sa and 1.35 vddq later today

"worth" is only relative to the amount of time you are willing to put on it, I'd say you reached the balance between time spent and real world benefits when you achieved 3600 C14, imo. But if you are willing to spare the time, go for it.

I use 1.1 SA, 1.3 CPU VDDQ and 1.35 CPU VDD2 on my setup, for reference btw

Well I have a fan coming today so I don’t mind having a mess, will test current settings with lower sa and vddq if stable il try 4133 with same settings at 1.5 dram voltage
