Friend has a Gigabyte G1-Sniper with the Network Killer E2100.

With a Fresh install of Windows he is unable to Install the drivers becuase either they wont install or he bluescreens wtih is caused by an xeno7x64 error. :banghead::banghead::banghead:

Has anyone an idea on how to fix this?

Cheers

Is that an integrated card or add in? If it is an integrated make sure to install Chipset drivers first.

If it is an add in try removing the card, installing the driver. Then reinstall the card.

from what little I could gather on the interwebs, it seems like its a driver related issue. Dowload the latest drivers from the manufacturers website or just dont plug the expansion card in.

A side from league/tournament gamers being 'paid' to promote or endorse products there is hardly any use for products like the N.K E2100 (previously made by bigfootnetworks) they dont do much of anything at least, nothing that a good built in Intel network card cant. lower latency is always a good thing, but these things dont get them low enough for any real difference that would change how you play your game. Unless you are really OCD about your K/D Ratio (in that case I recommend therapy)

Try updated drivers, if that doesnt work looked for 3rd party/modded/hacked drivers failing that, toss the card in the trash, If the soundcard is on the same expansion card.... Grab a cheap Xonar DX and everything will be gravy

Its an Embedded Ethernet port. come with the board. You have to use it as such

May i ask how long your friend has had the board?

whats the actual error code?

instal tpucapture and take a screenshot and post here.
