Flagship Intel Arc A770 GPU Showcased in Blender with Ray Tracing and Live Denoising

And another tease from... intel? No way!!! Do these numbers even mean something? :D

Eh I have never seen old gpu's increase in price due to collectors interest
Regular models indeed mostly don't, but there are exceptions, most notably FX 5800 ultra. Limited releases however often fetch a pretty penny, like Asus Mars and Ares series (only 1000 made of each model). I've actually been really keen on getting a Mars 2 for quite a while, but so far no luck, therefore I am somewhat ashamedly jealous of Derbauer having 2(!!!):

this was just the first result, i'm sure there are more. I Know some voodoos go for a lot to, especially the unrelease ones like the 6000
BitBoys Pyramid 3D is out now too

Those are valuable because they were never released, not because they are old. Old crap is generally that, and priced accordingly. Only the very best of the best will catch the nostalgia wave and fetch a premium. Things that were never released, or exist in incredibly small numbers are valuable *despite* their garbage performance.

Arc is not going to be rare nor highly performant, meaning you'll be able to pick up A770s in ten years for <20$ each.
