I would like to know if flashing powercolor liquid devil bios to a reference 5700xt is doable. I’m getting a id mismatch error message when using atiflash.

thank you for the feedback!

No you cannot flash an AIB Bios (Liquid Devil) to a Reference Card it will brick.

You can only Flash an AIB 5700 (Red Dragon) to an AIB 5700XT (Red Dragon)

You can only flash a reference 5700 to a reference 5700xt.

For tweaking your reference 5700xt go here, plus get after market cooling from Arctic Cooling, Gelid, Rajintek, or a AIO waterkit.

Hello,

Thank you for the quick answer! I’m already water cooling the card and using SPPT under windows. I wanted to flash this specific bios to improve the performance on a different os.

cheers!

See my last statement above. JUST DON'T DO IT!

....why exactly would you want too?
also i'm not sure eiairaman1 know what the liquid devil is... why would he recommend a after market water cooling kit for a card that has a water block on it from the factory...

It was a question of flashing a Liquid Devil Bios on a Reference design (Not compatible). He recommended getting a after market cooler for the reference design not the Liquid Devil and looking into SPPT if the OP wants to seek more performance
