hi people, i created a bootlable DOS Stick with the hp tool and also tried rufus, both went let me boot from the stick. On boot override i throws me back into BIOS after i enter the Stick, and if i try it once more i get a complete black screen, any help?
board is a x570 Gigabyte Aorus Elite

Do you have CSM turned on? You cannot boot DOS in UEFI only mode. Thats why you have CSM which is for legacy support.
I do not remember if turning on CSM will fudge up your previously installed OS boot or not, but it might. Can't recall at the top of my head.

i turned CSM on now but after i try to force boot from the stick i just get a blinking white bar

Just go into the BIOS and select BIOS upgrade option then select the USB and the file that you want to upgrade.

Please follow the correct procedure on Gigabytes website. Make sure that you have the correct BIOS etc

You don't need a bootable USB stick with DOS to flash the BIOS. You just need the BIOS file on the USB stick.

It even has support for updating the BIOS without a CPU.

Hello
In windows environment you can start CMD with admin privileges and you can use DOS commands to flash the video card.
No need for that to boot in a real DOS

Why are you trying to flash the GPU from DOS? which GPU is it? and why its need to be flashed?

i justet wanted to be in DOS the kill the possibilty OS crashing just while flashing :D
i did it, their was another option under CSM where i had to set the USB Devices to Legacy Mode Only

can be closed, thanks for all the help :)
