I've got a Sapphire X800GTO 256MB PCI-E and want to flash it to a X850PRO.
The X800GTO is using the same core (R480) and makes easily the X850PRO clocks. But my X800GTO is using Samsung 2.0ns chips and the X850PRO is using Samsung 1.6ns chips.

1. Can i flash the X850PRO BIOS on my X800GTO even if it's for the 1.6ns RAMs?

2. I've got also an Asus X850PRO BIOS that is using the Samsung 2.0ns RAMs but it's of course from Asus (not Sapphire)... can i use this BIOS?

thanks...

You can use both bioses, but make sure you have pci card to recover from bad-flash. If you want to use the 1.6ns bios, edit it using Rabit first to lower the mem clock (if you use faster mem timing, then you have to lower the mem clock). The second bios from Asus should also work fine. You can change the vendor in bios using Rabit, so it seems your card is from Sapphire, not from ASUS.
PS: I dont think that flashing your card would help you to get better performance. Just overclock it with AtiTool.

Tim flashovanim si fakt k nicemu nepomuzes. Uz jsi kontroloval svoje fuses data, jestli nemuzes otevrit pipelajny?
