From my recent experience I would say its better to get a Ubisoft game on sale about a year plus after its release.

Seriously though, while I like how the combat is done, I'm not sure I could get immersed into this game. Just the fact that they chose Knights, and Vikings and Samurai to jumble together in one game, seems kinda cheesy. Plus knowing Ubi, there will be a ton of technical problems, some of which may never get fixed.
