Gotta say this game is looking amazing. Microsoft have at last made improvements to the PC versions of there games. Horizon 3 was a joke on release now it is well optimized . Lets hope this will be the norm now .

Looks good, no gameplay trailer yet though? I've never played any Forza titles yet, I always worry from talk I see that it's too SIM for keyboard. I've played games like NFS Shift series and all the DiRT titles no problem on KB though. They're getting pretty good at tweaking the algorithm filters just enough for KB to at least make them doable on Medium AI setting.

It can be played on KB/m or better yet use a xbox controller. It is SIMish but in no way a proper sim racing game IMO. I think it is a good mix of SIM and arcade though. (speaking of the past Forza title by the way)

Forza is along the lines of Gran Turismo, very good not quite sim 'games'. My favorite and practically only genre I play on consoles, I'd never play it with a keyboard...

I can put hours into hot lapping just trying to tweak my car and lap times.

Guess I could play it @ 60fps ultra with my GTX1070 @ 1440p... (they r not mentioning 1440p though)
Oh well, I don't use windows 10 and I don't own an xbox. :ohwell:

I do own a xbox360 gamepad though....

Yeah I've seen YouTube vids of Forza titles being played on KB and it looks like an exercise in futility quite honestly. I don't think they're anywhere near the level of commitment a team like Slightly Mad is at properly supporting PC control wise. MS IS after all more interested in sales from Xbox versions of games than PC.

It's not about how SIM a game is, Slightly Mad and others like Codemasters have proven you can have both SIM and driver assisted handling, as well as properly tuned KB functionality. It's just a matter whether you really want to go the extra mile or not. Race games MS makes are geared pretty much solely toward their Xbox controller.

I skipped 6... I'm not even sure if that was good. 5 kind of disappointed, but it was an Xbox release purchase so it was entertaining for that, I guess.

I've played a little of that preview app on Windows.. All I can say is it felt good and didn't seem too different from consoles. I used a gamepad though. I prefer wheels, but I'd never recommend anything besides those two.

Old thread but has anyone been having trouble downloading this game on windows I’ve tried twice and some reason it won’t go passed 2.99 gb I already play it on my Xbox but want to see it on my pc
