Framework to Regulate Crypto, Stablecoins Introduced in US Congress

Careful now, you'll be called a xenophobic, nationalist, fascist pig if you keep that up.

edit:. Better add the /s and then wonder where our big empire is?

As for the thread, I find it intriguing that crypto garnered such attention in such a short time. Some of my losses came back. Lol

Most of the left seem to be for a smaller military, but at end of day, both sides of the aisle are so broken, nothing will ever change for true prosperity to take place in this nation. It will grind along, until the division of poor and wealthy become so great, it all collapses. Cause, fools be fools.

We could forgive all student loans for around 1.5 trillion, and pay for it by cutting the military budget from 750 billion to 500 billion until its paid off, and the economy would be boosted, and people who made mistakes in believing the universities were there to help them prosper, could re-do their lives for the better, and the military would still be twice as big and powerful as the next mama jama on the block. lol

It will never happen. It's all a joke, and it will all crumble eventually. My bet is on the Nordic countries and Canada becoming the best place to live in the mid-future. Canada only partially though, depends what moves they make short term. Norway is golden of course thanks to oil but spending that oil money very very wisely (cough Venezuela cough)

I do tend to side with the Founding Father's. Our great oceans protect us, we should have a small standing air force/navy and ability to rapidly mobilize if needed, and anything else becomes Cold War 2.0. Instead of the Empire being so vast, we should have invested in our own people. Geographically we are in a perfect position, and we completely throw it away.

Much like the Soviet Union, we are going to spend ourselves to death/collapse.
heh, the thing is, the "Soviet Union" never really collapsed. They were smart enough to recognize well in advance that they couldn't keep up with the US under the conditions which existed in those times and that a "contraction" & "redress" was needed in order to get the west to pump money into their economy. Its still the same old Russia with the same primary goals. Believe it or not, most of the new military hardware they have or are currently producing was unwittingly funded by the west. They still hold to the idea that its possible to win a nuclear war with acceptable losses.

Yes, but they will likely have their own versions of digital currency.

Humans on all sides are highly disappointing, as you have just reminded me, which is why I intend to retire to a cabin and pond in the woods by age 50, and adopt two dogs. You don't need much money if you're willing to live in the wild.

Honestly, an aspect I have always found telling is the only major nation that permits/has a legal grounds for "first strike" (hit first with nukes essentially) is the USA. Not that Russia wouldn't find a way if the oportunity presented itself, but it's not like we're saints and we openly admit it. Heck, we've used it.

OT for this thread though...

To quote my good friend Mr. Bobby:. If you ain't first, you're last.

Neither side wins though, that's kind of the point.

Anyways, topic drift. Stablecoins, people.

That's what I was talking about. Quote must have been off.
Well in that vein USDT was first I think, but it's run pretty poorly, so time will tell how it fairs.

Phase 1: Short it. Phase 2: ? Phase 3: Profit.

What if I want love not money?

P.S: Hooker frogs don't exist.
Love knows no bounds. Plenty of hookers would look for a prince.
