Blue Screen of Death

"Windows has been shut down to prevent serious error"
"Driver_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL"

wind502u.sys or something also mentioned.

Thanks again for the help.

Okay, I'm 100% positive of the problem here. I don't know a solution however.
The problem is a Wireless Networking card. Mine is a Motorola, but other brands (such as Asus) use the same chipset. I had this problem for over a year, but couldn't find a solution so I abandoned the card and bought a different brand.
Never any blue screens with the new one (D-link) for over two years. However the Motorola has longer range, and so I'm forced to use it due to my current apartment setup. BSOD returned the same day I started using it again, usually about once a day. Therefore I'm 100% positive of the problem.
The problem is very intermittant, seems to be related to too many packets passing through it or too many collisions... not sure. Only seems to happen when there is high traffic. I've searched for a newer version of my driver, but the most recent ones are from 2004.
What I have done in the meantime is throttle everything back on all my programs to keep the bandwith needs lower than normal. That reduces but does not cure the issue.
I'll keep searching for an answer. Hope this helps, and if you find out anything please pass it along.

And this is precisely one of the reasons I hard wired all of my comps.
