hi,

I have a ASROCK 775vm800 motherboard with via p4m800 chipset. i have audio and mic at the back and front of the pc. The back audio works but not the mic. As for the front of the pc none of them work.

I opened the case and had a look inside and seems that the wires for the usb in front is connected to motherboard while for the mic and audio in front is not connected to motherboard.

I had a look at the manual and it says it has to go to front panel audio header in motherboard. now the problem is that i am a newbie and dont have any idea which wire goes where? any one can help me sort this out?

ps. when looking at usb connection they have plugged the wires into a box (int cable to motherboard) then to motherboard, where for audio the box is missing but i can plug the wire into pins.

thank you
