Looking to upgrade my server. Hence, wanting to buy some mini ITX gear :cool:

Even if someone can buy something like this and ship it to me, it would be appreciated :D (Just give me a total USD price)

Software Windows Server 2003 R2 as a Workstation now migrated to W10 with regrets.
Pinchy, what do you want to do with your server. That a LOVELY miniITX board you found, but overkill for many situations.

There are many options if you are just fileserving, mail serving, media serving in a home or small business environment.

You can even get a miniITX to take a "laptop" CPU for extra cool.

Yeah I know, its overkill for what I am currently using it for (hosting ftp/website/file server/printer/download box etc etc) *but* I want to run a dedicated game server off it & when I got video encoding (pretty rare, but still..), wouldnt mind leaving it on the server instead of leaving my computer on for the night :).

The thing is, if I can get something like what I linked above for that price, I will be able to sell my current stuff for what I pay for the new stuff, so its almost like I am not spending anything :p. (Example, cheapest "new" min ITX board around here is $180, for an Intel with a 1.6GHz atom)


Oh and if it helps, for that zotac listed above I already got a CPU and some RAM laying around for it :p.
