Full Copper vs Copper Nickel Plated Waterblock

Ok guys I'm having a somewhat hard decision. I have 2 CPU blocks, One full Copper and One nickel plated but i can't decide which one to use. Would there be any type of temp difference between full copper or nickel plated ? Had anyone used one before and then switched to the other. If so what was the difference.

It's nickel plated copper, right? Nickel's supposed to be more corrosion resistant so the finish should prolong the life of the copper core. Temperatures wise there's probably no difference - it's still a slab of copper that the heat's going through.

As Zeppman said the Nickel is just to stop corrosion so I would choose Nickel over copper if I had the choice.

Your nickel block is a better design, use that. Though, I'd get some plasticizer free tubing and stay away from dyes.

Nickel, it looks the better design and will be more corrosion resistant.

On top of that the second part of the copper block looks like anodised aluminium to me. That's another point of corrosion in the future

Nickel plating not only helps with corrosion its also more durable than copper.

Those are some old school looking blocks. Are you going to use tubing from home depot, a car heater core, and an aquarium pump?
