This here is probably the most beautiful AIB partner card I've ever seen (and beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so you are naturally free to disagree with me.) The pristine color scheme and subdued backplate design really stand out for me, as does the white PCB. Nitpicking, I hoped the power cables would not be color coded as they are, but I guess that would invite disaster.

Stopping the ogling for a moment, I would like to draw your attention to the fact that this GALAX GTX 1080 Ti HOF features not two, but three (!) white, 8-pin auxiliary power connectors. I've seen this before in some R9 290X's (Sapphire's offerings also looked great, but not so much as this one does), and this is really a case of going overboard with power connections. Luckily, that over-designed power delivery is accompanied by a 16+3 phase power design, which should ensure clean, stable power delivery with extra stability for those overclocking feats this card just begs to be put through. The card features a 2.5 slot design with a triple-fan cooling solution, and carries LED illumination on the HOF crown logo. There are some pin headers for voltage measurement, a jumper for some mysterious function, and a button on the I/O bracket, which could be a fancier BIOS toggle.

Damn, that is a sexy card. 525 watts available when most use less than 300w at peak - yeah I would say that is an overkill. Still, might be useful for extreme benchmarkers with the right voltage software.

That bracket need white color too. And what is with that crappy little vram heatsink. Well it won't probably heat that much with so many phases on it, but still that really looks pathetic.

Looks like a nice board for extreme overclocking. And thats it. Regular users will keep getting cockblocked by nvidia's very stricked power plan, for better and worse

Haha yeh but sadly too expensive and I wouldn't be surprised if oc on air wouldn't be much better then a normal 6+8 or 8+8power

+1 What an ugly POS smh

Have any records ever even been set/broken using Galax branded cards? You know nGreedia; The way your meant to get gimped. AMD does similar shit too, but at least they don't charge a premium for it.

that is a Level 99 Ugly a$$ GPU. I suppose it's nice to see diversity through the albino population of GPUs being represented.

Galax held a few records on the 980Ti for a little bit. Unfortunately for them the abundance of EVGA 980Ti K|NGP|N cards meant that they lost all those records.

Galax were AFAIK the first to crack some of the issues of running Pascal on LN2 with their 1080 and 1060 HOF cards clocking a lot better than all the competitors.

Ahahaha, for some reason this comment made laugh so much. Apart from that, I like the HOF-series, but I also liked the MSI Reactor Core :D

But mostly all I ever see making the news is what's the latest record from K|NGP|N with the EVGA Classified cards.

That's what I thought. EVGAs marketing knows how to do it! Took a page out of Asus' book, now they can never do wrong...
