"The Yellow Screen" bug
==================

The way to reproduce this problem is to...

1. Enable gamma control.

2. Change the value of gamma to something else than default.

3. Save the settings in a profile other than default.

4. Load that profile.

The screen turns yellow. Like the red beam are gone from monitor typo.
The fix is to enter the gamma settings pulldown. The screen is again normal.
Conclusion: Its not possible to save a gamma setting in a profile without som extra workaround.

Anybody else that has this?
First I was terrified, as I newly flashed my bios and used pretty high clockrates...

Another thing with gamma...

To make it work, I have to go into the gamma settings dropdownmenu.
As soon as I open that, the gamma comes on.
It doesnt save with the profile...or isnt being updated after loading of a profile.

The hotkeys works great in Battlefield 2. I use ALt Gr + up/down arrow (NUM 4 & 6).

Still no idea on this matter?

When I turn off gamma in ATITools 24 beta 8, it will also reset the Catalyst setting everytime ATITools autoloads on powerup.

If I try to set gamma (in my case 1.4) it will be a yellow screen when changing profile in ATI Tool, until you actually enters the gamma part of "Settings" THEN it sets...

Must be a simple solution...

Did you do anything about it in beta 9, Wiz?
