I'm sorry, but the 295x2 beats what exactly? they're targeted at different market segments, the Titan-Z has over 3000GFLOPS of double precision processing power while the 295x2 has around 1400GFLOPS. Take your head out of the sand.
If the Titan-Z is x2 Titan Black then thats 10.2 Tflops, the 295 X2 is 11.2 Tflops.
Edit. no thats wrong, the 295 X2 is 11.5 Tflops, it as a little higher clocks to the 290X
