Alright so Im not sure where to put this but I think it could be a number of things.
Let me start by giving you some background. Yesterday morning, when I left my house, my computer was on and running and I was burning the Street Fighter IV game for my Xbox 360 and apparently that went off without a hitch as Im able to play it. Well I get home later that afternoon and I go to my computer room. Computer is on so I turn on my monitor. For some reason it was in VGA mode and I had it in HDMI mode. No biggie I change that. Well, my screen says no signal. So I go to reset it, no dice. Try turning it off from my power button, nothing happens, wont turn off. So I pull the plug (turn off the psu). Restart a dozen times, nothing happens, it turns on, DVD drives spin up, motherboard light is green, water cooling and fans spin up. However, I get no video and my HDD LED light isnt lighting up like it normally would. It would, usually on a bad oc or something, would start up, no post sound (from the little internal speaker) and stay lit. However it isnt lighting up. So I clear my CMOS *remove the battery* nothing happens. So I clear RTC and still no dice. I try this several times. Remove my sound card so its easier for me to reach the battery. No dice. Alright I change out the SATA cable to the hard drive and still no dice, it doesnt want to fully post or boot. I have no other computer to try my video card in but its up and running and no problem from what I can see. I smell no funny electrical smell or burn or can see anything wrong. From the looks of it and me tracing it, the wires are all snug into the board and their respective devices. Only thing I can think of is I changed to a 14.5x multi the night before and didnt have any problems. I dont know if it caused any problems but Im at a loss here as to what is wrong.
Im writing this from work and will hopefully be checking it out when I get home on my wifes laptop to try out any ideas you all have. You can see my system specs and see the hardware I got. Any ideas would be helpful. Thanks guys.
The Eagle.
EDIT: My proc isnt running at that speed. If anything its either 2.8ghz (from the original of 2.7ghz) or 2.85 to 2.90ghz. Ive got all voltages and other settings to auto only thing changed is the multi. However, as I stated, I cannot get it to post or see a bios, it just spins up but nothing more.
