Getting new PSU. Suggestions appreciated.

Hello everyone and good day.
The Corsair CS750M on my primary system as on specs died today. I am looking for a good 750W 80+ gold unit. My system runs around 17 hrs a day on average with a mix of everything (work, gaming, TV series etc.).
I am from India. The best I could find are the NZXT C750 and the Corsair RM750 (slightly more expensive).
My budget is around 10,000 INR (137.50 USD).
I am looking forward to the NZXT but before buying would appreciate some opinions from you all. Thanks.

As of now, using the system with the MWE 650 V2 from my secondary rig. Fortunately, the CS750M did not take out anything with it. Did not explode, pop or anything. Just turned off and would not turn on again. A power cycle causes the relay tick and immediately cuts off.

The NZXT C is a rebranded Seasonic Focus its not made by NZXT
If its cheaper than the RM then dont bother with the RM

I like my old Seasonic but to make it last longer, service it, let's say after 7 years before thing inside start to go too far north. ..Fit even better capacitors & thermal pads than the original.

I tend to buy PSUs from the manufacturer so I would recommend to look for a PSU from Seasonic

I would suggest looking at an EVGA Supernova. The one I got was rated extremely high on the jonnyguru site. It got a 9.9 out of 10. It came with a 10 year warranty.

If it is just the capacitors, I would replace them.

I did take it apart. The capacitors physically look fine. Standby power is okay. One thing I have noticed is that as soon as I apply power, the Power Good signal is partially shorted (around 25 ohm to ground). The PSU trips instantly when turned on with no voltage at the secondary side except for the 5V SB. I still couldn't figure out what's wrong.

Does either nzxt or corsair have a solid support presence in your country? If they both do id just go with the nzxt and call it a day. Otherwise id go with whichever has the best cs support just in case.

Corsair have solid support in my country (tried and tested). The CS 750M was a replacement I got on August 2016 on replacement to my GS 700 I purchased on 2014.
NZXT support is provided by a company called Acro which has good reputation here and handles RMA for Cooler Master as well.

10yr warranty with both. If the nzxt is in fact seasonic built AND its cheaper, id say swing away! They are both top notch. You really cant go wrong with either.

Thank you everyone. The ROG STRIX 750G is also available here and has got positive reviews everywhere I checked. Shall I go for that?
I will be buying right after 30th since there is a lockdown in Kolkata, India. So have got some time.

Thanks a lot for the detailed explanation. The ASUS is costing just a little bit more than the NZXT. I think I will go for the ASUS one since I have contact with their regional and channel manager and their service have never let me down. Thanks again.

Another option which you might or might not have in India is the Fractal Design Ion Gold and Ion Plus
The OEM is HighPower and its probably the best platform they have ever made and is on par with the Seasonic Focus

I just checked and the Fractal design Ion+ 760p is available here for 12,490 INR which is a little over my budget but I might consider it. I will have to check who is the RMA provider though. The 80+ platinum rating is also a steal for this price.

If so buy that one, its a good PSU with large 140mm quiet fan, good PSU all things considered

Corsair have good support in your country, the RM 2019 is a good platform from channel well technology, and is equipped with a large fan, if however you wanted a Seasonic since everyone wouldn't shut up about it, get the NZXT C750, since its a re branded seasonic focus, but do know its not as quiet as the Corsair RM 2019

The RM and RMx have on flaw the fan profile is little to relaxed making them very quiet yes but they also run quite hot and there is no switch to turn off the hybrid fan mode its always on and forced down your throat
Almost every PSU with a hybrid fan mode has a switch to turn it off if you want Corsair are one of the few if not the only company that dont give you the option to have it on or off

I am not sure if they fixed it but the newest version of the RMx i saw a review of had a more aggressive fan profile to make up for the older ones being too relaxed the problem with the the one i saw is the fan profile is now too aggressive which means you get very large jumps in fan speed going from super quiet to loud with litte warning

Because its unnecessary, the fan controller is thermally controlled, if the temperatures rise the fan will kick in to cool things under safe temperatures, there is no need for the fan to spin when its not needed

No review mentioned any overheating issues wth those PSUs

Its not hard to give everyone the option dont force stuff down everyone´s throat if they dont want it at least give them the option to pick everyone else can so why cant Corsair
Put an on/off switch for the hybrid fan mode on the RM and RMx its not hard

They are relaxed because its a larger 140mm fan that dosnt need to spin fast to move enough air unlike 120mm fans that need to spin faster to move air

I dont give a damm if the fan is 140mm or whatever i want the option for having it on or off if i think its too relaxed or aggressive or i just want the fan always on

Dont force stuff down everyone´s throat its that simple
