i need something to hold the battery without gluing it to the case :D :D :D :D

Finally a trap for Mussels...I mean case! We swear it's just a ghetto mod case nothing fishy about it...why don't you take a look inside!!?
You mean @Mussels ??

Like a bear trap for sea life??

Yep, I'm out!!

Here's my latest ghetto effort...

I present you a custom fan shroud made from foam poster board, card stock and toilet paper glued together with a mix of clear, Elmers and wood glue.
This was made to facilitate the use of a 120mm fan to replace an 80mm fan that broke a blade and was always very load to be begin with.

Here's the fan mounted blowing in a push config;

And here it is in a pull config;

Works really well too! Pull seems to work better under load. Either way cools better than the original 80mm fan and is very quiet comparatively.

although it's still ghetto it still looks pretty neat

Today's ghetto mod is another idea for a cheap GPU support brace. I finally upgraded from an 11 year old GPU to a 5 year old GPU, and thusly my previous brace which was a cut down dental irrigation syringe wouldn't quite work here as I wanted something smaller in diameter. So again I wandered my castle and came up with using the lid from a dead Sharpie marker, after cutting the pocket clip off of course. It was the perfect height for my mATX case and PNY GTX 1660!! :)

We can't see any hot glue or anything. Is it just friction mounted?

Chopsticks?!? What? I see a marker pen cap.

Took the Angle Grinder to my NZXT H510 case today as wanted more airflow.

Looks like something a prisoner could make. To stab a security guard to escape or something.
One guy (from Russia or Ukraine, don't quite remember) was tryna learn how to code when he was serving his sentence but he lacked access to computers (he was asking about some weird necro stuff cca early Symbian era and was asked why he won't do all this on a PC and he answered, "Where the heck do I find a PC in jail?") so at least in this part of the globe, having knives made of RAM whilst imprisoned is rather a sick fantasy.

and back again, the previous mod actually works pretty well just after several weeks i found alot of dust entering the router, so i have an idea how to keep the big heatsink without let the dust entering the router, so i make bubble by using plastic bottle and hot glue it to the body :D:D:D:toast::toast:

i just forgot i need to mod the adapter, coz of bad contact, so i wrap the copper wire there and i fill the empty area with plastic to make it sit tight
