Glorious, a global leader in PC-gaming hardware, today announced the forthcoming release of the new GMMK Numpad, a wireless mechanical macro pad featuring fully customizable aesthetics and seamless Bluetooth 5.0 LE wireless connectivity - it is a must-have addition for gamers, streamers, and productivity users. The GMMK Numpad was designed as a perfect companion for the GMMK PRO or the GMMK 2 65% keyboards, but it's also extremely versatile for use with almost any setup. It was engineered with enthusiasts in mind but is fully accessible to the general user, including several features never before seen on a macro pad widely available outside of the enthusiast markets.

GMMK Numpad offers total customizability, with 17 programmable keys & a pressable rotary encoder knob, slider control, 5-Pin Hotswap PCB, 16.8 Million color RGB, and a full line of accessories available for users to design their Numpads to match their personal style, including top frames, knobs, sliders, and accent badges. The anodized aluminum case with signature side profile lights is both extremely durable and aesthetically beautiful.

"A macro pad has been one of the most requested products from our community, we put in a lot of thought into bringing innovation to a product that's historically been considered boring," said Shazim Mohammad, Founder & CEO of Glorious. "There is nothing else comparable in terms of versatility and premium design."

The GMMK Numpad pre-order goes live Tuesday, August 16th at 11 AM CT at www.gloriousgaming.com and begins shipping in September. Comes pre-built in Black Slate and White Ice colorways, for $129.99 MSRP.

Technical Specifications
  • 17 Programmable Keys + Pressable Rotary Encoder Knob & Programmable Slider
  • Bluetooth 5.0 LE Dual Wired/Wireless Connectivity - Up to 76 Hours Wireless Battery Life
  • 5-Pin Hotswap PCB + Gasket-Mounted Plate Design
  • Pre-Assembled with Factory Lubed Glorious Fox Linear Switches & GSV2 Stabilizers
  • ABS Doubleshot Keycaps
  • Full Anodized aluminium Body 16.8 Million Color RGB LED Backlighting & Sidelights
  • Compatible w/ Glorious CORE & QMK
  • Works with Desktop, Mobile, and MAC OS
  • 2-Year Glorious Warranty

Much cheaper than a G13, slightly more than a Tartarus, but its not as pretty as those.. Using this could free up keyboard choices, keyboards without macros.

Hi,
Very sad another global leader I've never read of damn.

$129 ... "fully accessible to the general user" they say......
Indeed I can get a complete keyboard for that
Matter of fact I have three that were cheaper

What's the slider control and rotary encoder knob for? I can understand the slider control might be useful as a throttle device but the rotary encoder knob? Something for flight sims?

For over glorified numpad at that price point thanks but no thanks. If it was dedicated keypad similar to Cooler Master Control Pad or Xencelabs Quick keys or Tourbox Neo , etc.. then it would have been justified for productivity and when it comes to gaming there are better options from Logitech, Razer, Red Dragon, etc...

They might be going for streamers that want volume sliders or creators that want dials and sliders for whatever, but those types are best off using more specialized devices like Streamdeck/Loupedeck and TourBox...

It’s programmable. So anything you desire. Brightness, Volume etc. There should be a press function as well. Glorious actually popularised the fad of rotary knob in custom keeb community with their GMMK Pro. I know Corsair had a volume knob for years but nobody in the custom/high end keeb community cares about them.

Oh you'd be surprised. I know I'm one of the first few replies cringing at the price but there's an obvious market for high-end keyboard peripherals.
Glorious's GMMK Pro (which this board is supposed to match) for example, you can customise till $510. And daily there's so many boards coming out boutique manufacturers that are priced at least over $400.

19 buttons (17 keys plus a slider and a knob) = $6.85 per, compare that to a full size $200 corsair k70 with 104 keys or about $1.92 per key. If it was a WASD pad I can see it being useful and there being a large market (gamers) but this is like a niche nobody asked for, and a pita to configure it for gaming.
