Is anyone else having problems with their email client on Gmail accounts? Mine stopped accessing this morning without warning..

I checked just for you and not having any problems here.
Maybe should try the "recover your account" option.

No problems, gmail working fine here.
Been using it all morning. I use outlook mostly...
However, I just checked it on my tablet email (aqua mail) and it is working there, too.
@lexluthermiester, seems they may have had a few problems in certain areas this morning.
Both of these sites show trouoble, around, 5:30am to 8:00am EDT.

You need to be more specific. What client? And POP3 or IMAP or both?
Four different gmail accounts here - all configured for POP3 and all working fine with Outlook 2016 and MailWasher Pro.

Everything seems to be back up. I've got a few friends elsewhere in the world who were having issues as well. Seems Google had a few problems earlier.

Not sure that means anything since (as of Oct 2019) there are ~1.5 billion monthly active GMail users worldwide! I suspect there are always a few 100,000 or so having issues at any given point in time.
Anyway, I am glad it seems to have resolved itself. Thanks for the update.
