Bought pretty much this EVGA FTW3 1080ti a while ago for $100. The ebay seller told me that a friend of theirs tried to use it for mining, but could never get it to work, and then when seller bought it they couldn't get it to work in windows. I got it because it sounded like a bios issue, and the card is Dual Bios. I got it and both bios' had the same issue. I'm going off the presumption that the seller was telling the truth and that the friend just mucked around in both.

I have some experience in bios reprogramming and have a cheap bios programmer clip (if that's useful), but just assume I'm a total noob for most things. I'd really like to get this working if I can.

I have been able to boot into a system with it inside off of a spare 650ti I have, and windows detects the card in device manager but "with issues". Unfortunately I don't have an igpu or AMD gpu.

Feel free to ask questions, I can provide screenshots or images. Thanks!

Thanks! I've run into an issue where it says "the pci bar assignment for the processed device is invalid" whenever I try to run any commands in NVflash, any idea what that could be?

@eidairaman1 may be of help here, he's helped with many VBIOS issues.

Hope he sees my tagging and can be of some help, I haven't personally flashed newer Nvidia GPUs than Kepler (600/700 series) so I have no clue about newer cards.
