GPU bricked?

One good advice would be to buy a decent PSU. Something with at least a bronze rating, a corsair or seasonic for example.
Another advice would be a clean install of windows, or at least booting from some rescue drive and doing a malware sweep.
After that, you should open command prompt and run sfc.exe /scannow command, just in case your system files got messed up.
After that, a certified video card driver installation.

1, last thing, i will try to get you the correct bios file for a reflash.

Here is 1 file from the Verified bios Listing. Has your model described. Look at the Code that has F in it, This one is F10.

You know what you may try. Attempt to upload this bios of yours using GPU-Z hopefully it will say the database has your file already. If it does, utilize the link that GPU-Z provides to the file that is already in the Bios and flash that one, make sure the description says hynix ram. If it says samsung, elpidia, micron only, do not flash, the description must say Hynix.

This is the one I flashed, and that is currently flashed.. Sorry if it took a while for my answer I was busy with school projects. I did get my ssd today (finally, was suppose to be one day shipping lol) and I did a clean install of windows (my other hdd is not connected rn) still getting the same crashes.. So I think its fair to say that it is hardware related. Let me know what you think.

Tomorrow (if there's no delay) I'm suppose to receive my new PSU and RAM, so I'll be able to test with those new pieces. I also ordered a rx570 just in case if its my 580 the problem. My warranty is still good, so I might just use the 570 until they repair the 580. Card should be here by Thursday.

Do the Flash 1 more time get back with us. It probably the psu being funky, you can always try the 580 RMA.

Alright....
So I got my PSU today and I removed my old one and placed the new. Plugged everything (ofc with no power on, not plugged either) and when it was ready to go I booted my pc without my hdmi connected just to see if it would boot. Everything looked fine, shut it down, plugged hdmi, turn back on, nothing shows in the screen and my gpu doesn't seem to be on (rgb isn't lighting up)...
After that, even without the hmdi plugged in, the gpu wouldn't light up

On my motherboard there's also a section for ez debug led, and the one for the cpu is lighting up.

I honestly have no idea what to try, everything is well connected, checked like 40 times..

seems like only the hdmi port on your gpu isn't working...do you have warranty?

New testing;
Changed the slot of the gpu on the mobo and now it boots... But I still have the same crash when I start the stress test (black screen)
All of this was done with the new PSU on the new SSD with a clean install of windows.

Well, told ya...

The GPU is toast or the BIOS is still messed up.

But why would one slot work and not the other one? Wouldn't that be motherboard related? (just wondering)

Honestly there is no way to tell. Unless you use the card in another system.

I suggest beer and pizza after this mess gets sorted out...

Clean gpu pins and slot too

Have you actually attempted a RAM test yet? You shouldn't start flashing your BIOS all over again, if you were encountering freezing issues before and still have yet to get to the bottom of it. Test your foundations then start playing with the BIOS.

Go to Event Viewer and check that out. Check in the Critical and error section and take screen shots.

Hello everyone,
I'd like to start by apologizing for not being very active in the past few days. I've quite busy and to be fair, I was also waiting for some components to do more tests. It's been quite a ride.. BUT, good news, my pc is back up and running!

Just to fill you in on what happened if you're curious, I reflashed with cmd the original bios for my gpu and it didn't fix anything. Then for some reason, my first slot for the gpu stopped working so I had to use the second one to be able to power the gpu. Couple of days passed, wanted to test something else and the second slot stopped working too..

After that I decided to wait until I receive my new motherboard; I figured I would start there. Installed the new one, plugged everything, gpu powers on BUT still get the black screens.

I just received a new gpu today and now everything is working fine as you would expect (with the amount of components that I've now replaced lol). My warranty is still good for my old gpu so I'll just send it to get repaired and use the other one in the meantime. It's too bad that I wasn't quite able to pinpoint the exact problem, yes we can now confirme that it was probably a hardware issue with the gpu.. But with the other crashes/bugs that I had (like you guys said) it could of been a mix of multiple faulty components. Anyway, I'm just glad that this is finally over!

I would also like to thank every single one of you guys that took time to answer my questions and gave me tips and things to try to fix what was going on. You guys have a lot of patience and it's awesome to know that there's a place like this online. This gives me hope in humanity lol

But seriously thank you guys so much! You have a lot of patience to be able to deal with newbies like myself! Have a great day, and take care, all of you! <3

As shitty as it is, sometimes that's just the way it works out. You just need to throw money at the problem until it's gone. I'm in the middle of one of those deals right now too. :ohwell:

One thing bro, bios flashing is really not necessary for a card to work. If anything always talk to technical support, be honest and give them all information they ask for if you decide to.

So enjoy the gpu as is. If you want to squeeze more out of it, MSI Afterburner is a pretty universal Overclocking tool, safer than any bios flash.

I praise the Lord for giving me strength to have patience.
