Recently there have been many reports of driver issues, so a poll.

Only the last three months drivers are in question here , And only Gpu's that are still supported officially.

three votes(idealistically one per brand if required) per person though you can change your vote, simple.

feel free to comment on your issue with regards to a discription but do not feel free to request help for it , start or join a different thread.

And this thread is meant to illuminate and quantify the issues ONLY, please try to avoid arguing about each other's issues, blame for them, or any other kind of brand loyal argument.

How many threads on driver issues are we going to have? W1z or someone here created a poll already!

And I can only choose one option? I have multiple systems...

Nvidia system is fine... AMD system had issues (though the review system with AMD cards did not).

Given you comment i have upped it to three votes, I have not seen a driver poll lately, and it is pertinent atm.

Patience young padawan... ;)

I have not seen a driver poll lately,
There was a huge one from December(?) on the front page.

Now, I've voted. ;)

It's been several months though...

While I know this, in total, effects a small amount of users (a few % at most), it is still, seemingly, an issue for many users (more problems here than there is a given at this time) and the fix lists are incessantly long. I had to move away from a 5500 XT on my kid's system and go with a Nvidia card because of it :(. Yet, my review system through over a dozen cards and a couple of these drivers, worked fine.

What gets me is AMD touts/brags about the stability in the Adrenalin driver and the annual release, yet, on top of Navi teething issues from MONTHS prior, it got WORSE. Why did that happen?? How does it get worse when you publicly brag about stability?!!!

EDIT: Shit... this isn't about discussing the drivers (though my argument isn't brand specific).. I digress, sorry ymrk.

Im all good anyway, no issues here.
Bar the occasional c2D on all in the odd game(Games to blame others don't have issues)

On three rigs two AMD one Nvidia.

And I can’t vote in the poll for obvious reason but they are at least good reasons, that’s all I can say ;)

I voted based on the latest driver on amd.com which I have used :pimp:

No problems on the AMD PC.
We have also a Intel/Nvidia systeem and also no problems.

No issues on my AMD RX 480. But I'm running older drivers (19.x).

I've been using Nvidia GPUs now for 13 years in my builds and probably before that because the family member who built my rigs before I started building in 2007 used to always talk about how he liked AMD CPUs and Nvidia GPUs. I've never had a problem with an Nvidia GPU or an issue with any drivers but I don't jump around a lot with drivers. I stick with the same one for years unless there's some good reason to get the latest greatest driver.

Side note, Rx 480 is flawless on any driver in the last year. It's my kids card now so Radeon settings doesn't get updated often. But it's on January drivers atm and plays my kids games perfectly.

weekend lurkers bump

Zero issues on the latest drivers on my two very different main systems. I also recently had the pleasure of tinkering with a 5700 XT Nitro+ SE for about a month with 5 different driver versions and 2 different monitors one Freesync one Gsync without any issues in Gears 5/ Metro Exodus/ BFV/ CoDMW/ Forza Horizon 4/ Fortnite/ Diablo 3/ Rocket league/ Halo Reach/ RE2/ Witcher 3/ DOA 5/ Soul Calibur 6/ Catherine/ DMC 5/ RDR 2/ MHW. I did not test multi monitor though.

The system was

2600@ 4ghz
Asus X470 Strix F
Corsair RGB Pro 3200
Corsair RM 850
860 Evo SSD

Latest bios and clean windows install with all the latest drivers.

Just for reference because a lot going around the interwebs that AMDs navi issues are partly hardware compatibility related.

sorry, but there are issues and issues.it's a silly poll.
I had high dpc latency issues with a gtx 1080 on launch,so I guess my vote counts as much as a navi owner getting blackscreens.

Read the notes, it's relative to the last three months ONLY.

Didn't put a limit on how big or small the issue was.

And to me is 100% fair no bias, three main pc GPU makers with equal weighted answers.

So ,silly, eh , that's exactly what I would expect from YOU.
And I Know where two of your votes landed without the ability to check in any way but hey fairness right.

I guess some like their facts squed.

A fair poll to quantify the problem amongst the enthusiast community ie those who care and are vocal is silly , my word the green bitterness.

I’m running 2x Intel systems, x58 and a dual six pin 970 FTW, and z77 with a 980 Classified. No problems or issues to report.
