GPU Temp on AMD RX6600XT not working

I'm using throttlestop on my desktop CPU and my laptop.

Both cases work fine for undervolting (that's the reason why I'm using it) :)

In my laptop , the CPU is Intel i7 7700HQ and the GPU is an nVidia GTX1050Ti, and I set the app to show CPU and GPU temp, next to the Windows clock in the taskbar. In this case everything works fine.

In my desktop PC, the CPU is Intel i7 8700, and the GPU is AMD RX6600XT. Motherboard is Asus Prime Z390-P, latest BIOS, and the GPU has the latest AMD Creators driver (I use it for video editing).

I would like to have the CPU and GPU temps as I do in my laptop, but when I check AMD GPU in ThrottleStop options, the checkbox just grays out and I can't set this up. The GPU temp is never shown. I think this is an Issue of ThrottleStop as I can do this very easy with the nVidia card.

If I'm doing anything wrong or I can try something else to do please let me know

ThrottleStop gets its GPU temperature information from the GPU driver. I have not owned or had access to any AMD GPUs for at least 10 or 15 years. I cannot update the software I write if I do not have access to any recent AMD GPU hardware. The method to query temperature data from the GPU driver has likely changed since the last time I had an AMD GPU. ThrottleStop does not know how to query this information from your AMD RX6600XT.

The method that Nvidia uses has not changed in many years so ThrottleStop continues to work OK on most Nvidia GPUs.

Get hwinfo64

Thank you for the quick reply!
Is there anything I can do to give you such information on How to get the temp?

Unfortunately no. You will have to find a different monitoring utility. HWiNFO works well.

Ok, thank you anyway!
Hope it can be added some day. I know I can use other monitoring tools, but the idea was to use this same app and avoiding other running process in the background

You can setup Radeon overlay to only display temp and this is very small and unintrusive
