GTX 1050
Intel i5-7300HQ
32Gb Ram
I was studying my problem with my laptop performance in games like rust, and I did seem to pinpoint the root of the problem with the help of one of the throttlestop devs. It seems that my perf is limited by my voltage which seems to throttle when it his the limit of 1.0250V. My GPU usage is at its highest, but after like 30 seconds of hitting the voltage limit it goes back down to 0.8620V. Is there a way to just keep it always at 1.0250V since the temps don't even go past 62C, so it has to be power throttling. Note that I have a shitty Dell Inspiron 15 7000, so I probably understand that it is voltage locked, but does that also mean that I cannot set a permanent voltage on the GPU at its limit?
