GPU-Z Download Blocked by Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge Browsers

Get Brave. No issues there.

Scan your system for virusses.

A week ago, you offered me that same suggestion, and I told you then, and I'm telling you again that I've scanned my whole system, all drives, including backup drives and USB drives for viruses several times, and nothing has been found. I've even scanned the USB drive containing the genuine Microsoft installation image, downloaded from Microsoft, for my current Windows installation.
How many more times do you suggest I should repeat that process, which takes about 8 hours to complete?

Thanks, but no thanks. I'm quite happy with Firefox. No problems at all. I have more than enough browsers already installed, and I don't need another one.

Also, I've re-installed Chrome, and it's still doing the same thing as before, (blocking all executable files), saying that a virus was detected.
nothing has changed: Edge and Chrome are still blocking the download of all executable files regardless of the download source, giving the error message, "Download blocked - virus detected."

That's not normal.

GL.

* Is Norton installed?
Maybe it is somehow blocking EXE downloads due to bad settings?

* Do MSI installers work fine, or also fail?

I have no AV installed, except for the built-in Windows Security.
