Hi everybody,

I have a laptop : MSI GX 60 3CC
And the graphic card is dead.
As I don't have the money to buy a new graphic card or new computer, I would like to find a solution.

I know that my CPU has integrated graphic so what I would like is use that instead of my graphic card.
I tried to open my PC and unplug the graphic card.
Don't know what I expected but it looks like there a missing steps to get it to work that way :/

Can you guys help me on that ?

For information, the computer starts and the fan are spinning. The power light blinks orange and white and the computer remains in that state forever. When things were better it used to start after a while but now it just stays like that.

Thank you

Should be in BIOS settings. Although, if you don't even have a GPU in, it should auto set to built in graphics... at least if you have an Intel chip, of course.

Well I have an intel chip.
Doesn't look like I can access bios settings, I've tried all F keys and del one...

Don't know what to do, I actually expected it to switch by itself.

Well I replugged the graphic card and the power light doesn't blink anymore.
It's fix orange but still nothing on the screen

Take it to a shop before you mess it up further

Wish I could help. Del has been the key for my past couple of motherboards, but it varies depending on model. Perhaps the person above should be followed.. Maybe take it to the shop and get someone to help.

Del key is normally the access to bios for MSI latop btw
if your running win10 , you can go into "advanced startup/recovery" options, and select "troubleshoot" , then "uefi/firmware settings"

or try a PS/2 KB if you have access to one, not sure if that Laptop supports it

I thought MSI GX60 have AMD APU+GPU...

But if it's indeed Optimus enabled (not some other switchable graphics), it should be as easy as forcing the driver to always use iGPU (been there, done that :D).
Otherwise, try to use external monitor via HDMI/VGA, see if that gives output.

Hold on, so what's the problem here. Is the OP only unable to go into BIOS setting, or the PC/Laptop(?) unable to display anything?

Clear the CMOS, then see if the IGPU will work.............
