Yeah was gonna post about that. The setting alone makes it more interesting than the last one (the one I never finished). I would have liked an increased level cap though, I quite like my suboptimal Commando, but it feels a bit pointless playing as him if he's not getting XP... Will definitely buy though.

Off topic I'm quite liking their other game atm.

I've been screwing around again in Grim Dawn. I've played through all the difficulties and made lots of characters, but I've only ever hit Revered status in two factions: Devil's Crossing and Outcast. I've decided to make a character and work them through all the factions to get them to revered status, I just added Rovers to my list of completed factions the other day.

I'm currently working on Homestead and Kymon's Chosen before I progress further into the storyline.

Oh I can't wait to play Farthest Frontier but I'm still holding off, no early access for me, I really liked playing BG3 completely fresh at release as well... But it looks great!

I think Crate smells blood, indeed! A fine observation! Release somewhere in 2024 clearly supports that assumption too, they know they'll get another sleeper hit. They already have my purchase tbh, even if D4 was half okay.

Yeah I hope they release this H2 2024 so I can properly finish BG3, Starfield, and whatever else comes out in the second half of 2023... Its a good time again, despite all the shitty pushed game releases, below the mainstream surface there's SO MUCH to play now

Thats some good news, recently I was considering on picking up all of the expansions for TQ and start a new char from 0 cause I've missed out on like 3 expansion in that game. 'I've only played the base game+Immortal Throne many years ago'
Maybe by the time this GD expansion is relased I could finish those. :oops:

I think Grim Dawn spoiled me. I loved TQ + Immortal Throne. When I found out that expansions had been made for TQ, I had already been playing Grim Dawn for a while.

I grabbed the Atlantis DLC for TQ, but I just couldn't get into it. I tried, but I think it was too little, too late for me. Always fond memories of TQ + Immortal Throne for me, but the expansions just won't be.

GD is a great game in overall but there is something about TQ's mythology style that I really like.

GD is a great game in overall but there is something about TQ's mythology style that I really like.

Same here, for some reason GD felt, for lack of a better word, hollow. That and the stupid random one-shot, made sure I put way fewer hours into GD than I put in TQ+TQ:IT.

Since I am waiting for the Mods for TWWH3 to be updated I started a nice session of Grim Dawn. There are 2 things that really stand out with this Game. The combat spells are great but absolutely needed to progress. The other thing is the Game looks absolutely stunning at 4K. I also agree on the sentiment around Titan Quest. I too played the crap out of the first Game and IT. I am sure I have the DLC but it does not call me to play it. I put that directly onto Torchlight 1 & 2 as those were spectacular entries into the ARPG genre but even Victor Vran feels bigger than TQ.

More condensed levelprocess, less loot but more MI's and better quality drops to compensate... this really does 'fix' some of the veteran player niggles I stumbled over. Awesome. I love Crate. If I wasn't already snowed in with my backlog/trying to make my last month of gamepass count then I would defo go back and start a new char since I still only have 1x lvl 100 char and some low level ones on the side.
