If your using windows 10 this game is a pain in the backside to get working but it can be done so i will try pull up some info on how to fix it if i can find it.

I have not tested the files linked in the youtube video but the widescreen fix rings a bell and i think i downloaded it from somewhere else when i last tried getting this game to work.
I also had the issue that is shown in this video.

right click on the propertys on the shortcut to the game plck compatilltys run in win8 mode works for me also works with the OG crysis.
