Updates:

1. I bought some Scotch 3M Double Sided Tape for Light Mountings, it works well with the heat transfer. Its not conductive and doesnt melt at high(130C) temps. Proven and Tested. Its only a dollar too!

2. RMA just called, Im about to get a GTX470 this coming Wednesday. Its a long day ahead.. I simply cannot wait.

P.S I have a Hec Cougar 700W SLI Certified PSU, 60amps on the 12v rail. Is that good enough for the 470?

1. Good for you. :)

2. Seriously good for you bro. :toast:

3. 60 amps is enough...they recommend 42total amps on the 12volt rail for the 470...so you should be good to go....enjoy the new toy. :rockout:

470 is a power hog
idk if your PSU enough or not for it..
but to be on the safe side, a TX750 should be enough

I have a 620 watt psu and oced gpu and cpu and it runs fine

I don't see how a 275 is almost as powerful as a 460. It's got 96 more shaders and higher clockspeeds...

after what ive seen looking trough a tons of reviews about the gtx460 when overclocked it comes close to the gtx470, the gtx 460 uses less power overclocks well and is a smaller card, name any video card on the market that can compete with that
