Congrats on the card @Mydog . Maxwell is a hell of a chip. That single card would almost produce as many F@H points as your server used to and use 1/2 the wattage. :rockout:

Yeah, you're in for a major upgrade. According to Anandtech that GTX 970 is almost 250% faster than a HD 5870. Enjoy.

Coming from an Asus DCu II TOP GTX 560 Ti, now I have a Gigabyte GTX 970 G1 Gaming xD

Anybody having problems with the driver 347.25 + GFExperience 2.2.2, not detecting my card under LED Visualizer and I can't change the Color range to Full, it always remain in Limited in the control panel (using HDMI) as cable source.

Never mind fixed it with a clean install of the new drivers, although GFExperience 2.2.2 still not recognizing my GTX 970 under LED visualizer, I guess I'll just uninstall this and use the control panel to edit game optimizations :)

Still a beast of a card tho :D

I just picked up a couple of EVGA GTX 980 SC ACX 2.0 cards. This was an upgrade from 2 EVGA GTX 580 Classified's. And the experience has been magnificently awesome. Very happy with the purchase and performance of these cards so far.I'm running a X79 Dark, 3930K @4.8Ghz under water, 32GB of HyperX, 256GB Intel SSD, 2 WD 1TB hdd's,1100w Cooler Master PSU, all on a test bench. I am thinking that gaming wise . I'm good to go for a good while. Looking forward to playing around with these cards. And figuring out the idiosyncrasies of overclocking these beasts. Just wanted to drop in here and say wassup! :)

Got it overclocked to 1444Mhz core, 7.5Ghz memory clock. Stays at 68C under load, feel like I have more headroom to push this card.
Running 11,600ish in firestrike currently, will post screen shot later

I haven't had a Nvidia since I went to the ATI Rage3d PCI card back in the day. Well I'm now a proud owner of two MSI 970's and OH MY GOD these kick ass.
