The only reason to pick the Z is for FP64 work
Not a good idea to use it with WinXP. 32-bit memory limitations will hamper the graphics card's usable RAM, as well as usable system RAM.That, or some sort of ultimate Windows XP retro build. Maxwell driver support for XP was very limited, in a similar fashion to Ampere support on Windows 8.1. Only earlier drivers work and I believe it's limited to the GTX 960 only, though it was possible to run it on the 980 with inf mod back then.
