Sometimes when I’m playing the screen suddenly freezes and the audio starts to loop, When this happens Alt+Ctrl+Canc and Alt+Tab doesn’t work and I’m forced to restart my PC. Sometimes when the problem occurs the screen turns blue and the following message error is displayed “Driver nv4_disp is blocked in an infinite loop”

I’ve the latest version of nVidia drivers 180.48

Are there any possible solutions? This issue, that seems to be common, has been definitivlely fixed? There’s the risk that is an hardware problem (defective VGA)?

This is my PC configuration
CASE - Aerocool ExtremEngine 3T-BBA Black
POWER - LC Power Silent Giant v2.3 600W Green Power
MOTHERBOARD - Asus P5N-D
CPU - Intel Core 2 Quad Q9400 Box
RAM - Dimm 2X2GB DDR2 PC2-6400 Corsair C4 XMS2 DHX
HD - 2x Seagate Barracuda 500GB SATA-II 32MB
DVD DRIVE - Optiarc AD-7201S Black SATA
VGA - Gainward GeForce GTX 260+ 896MB Extreme Edition
COOLING - Arctic-Cooling CPU Freezer 7 Pro - PWM
OS - WinXP SP3

Thank you very much for your help ;)
