Hi
Was wondering if anyone can give me some advice

Got a corsair Hydro h100i cooling a Intel 5930k. Idle Temps used to be around 35c to 40c

Yesterday I rebooted my pc and it came up with cpu temp error. I went into the bios and the cpu temp was 91c and also the radiator was at around 72c

I turned it off for a while to let it cool down and then booted up and managed to get to Windows and checked corsair link to see if the pump was running. It was at 2300rpm. I touched the h100i pipes and I could feel the flow.

I renewed my thermal compound but it made no real difference and cleaned the system out of any dust (not like it was dusty anyway but thought I'd try it)

Hi I've tried reinstalling twice now but made no real difference to the Temps. The cooler is 2 years old next week so I have contacted corsair to see what they say. The warranty runs out next week

It seems like your AIO is out of commission. Either the pump gave up, or something is clogged inside the rad or tubing.
I'd send it to Corsair before doing anything disruptive. All Hydro series products are covered by a 5-year manufacturer warranty.
The only downfall, is that you still need something to cool that 5930K

Could be air trapped in the head unit since it is the highest point in the loop. Try laying the entire system on its side and see if temperatures return to normal. Otherwise RMA it as soon as possible so your warranty does not run out.

Sounds to me like your pump is s****ing the bed or there something else wrong with it maybe Air, either way there's not much you can do since it's a closed loop. If that is indeed the situation of course

It's a s****y situation when it happens but the silver lining is ,as far as a AIO failures Go having the loop stop cooling properly is probably the best of all the problems , considering it could also have leaked .

either way there's not much you can do
If it is air, moving the radiator above the head unit will resolve the issue long term. If the pump is out, there is no help and it needs RMA'd.
