havent a clue what program i need!

i need a program that will basicly take whats on my screen and put it into some kind of text file!!

heres what i need to do, i need to make a list of all my films and music! and i dont want to have to copy and paste every file as i have a fair bit!!

any ideas or ways you can think of to do this?

there´s a prog called TreeSize; simply prints out the directory tree.
