Looking for some bulkhead/panel mount mic/headphone jack with hd-audio plug on the other end so it can be plugged in asus dsx internal port.

Thought it would be simple find, but seems elusive.

I would like to have a seperate port, so that is the reason not to use the chasiss plugs on top.

Thanks.

Some mod-style shops use to carry them, but I'm not sure if they really do any longer. I know we carry one that can be ordered without a case, but it also has USB 3 on it, so that may not suit your needs. I'd link to it, but I think that's against TOS on this site.

I know you're looking for a complete resolution or solution to this matter but I just figured I'd mention something that came to mind

Since you're looking for just the HD audio i figured id mention that, over the years I have hadpc case front panels go bad on more than one case at which point , I would contact the manufacturer of my case most recently it was phanteks. & they send me out the entire front panel which includes USB as well as whatever else is on that board but it occurred to me that you could remove the HD audio wires the plug and the 3.5 jacks for mike and output or input and create your own type of mount . I know it isnt a perfect resolution and you may have considered it already but in most cases at least for me it's always been free but would require some building work.even if you just unsoldered the HD audio wire from The front panel circuit board, all you would have to do is hook it to the 3.5 jacks that you have to purchase and mount it in something like a case

Thanks. I actually did that first, I have a few scarp computers that I always loot for parts. They have audio panels, but none of them are hd audio. I just thought a bulkhead connector easy to find.
