Hey, so I got 3 500GB drives, currently 2 of them are in raid and a single one where I installed windows.
But im wondering what would give me the best performance.
Install windows on the single drive, or on the raid drives along with the games?
Or install games on the single drive..
I am also going to use Vmware to run a virual machine.

So what should I do to get the best performance for games and applications?

Thanks in advanced! :)

er..... copy and paste less please..... not only is this thread nearly 30 days old with no replys but you also posted a linux guide when hes clearly using windows.

to answer your question,
2 disk Raid0 + 1 Disk with windows installed would give you the best overall performance.

EDIT:
hes also running a raid0 not raid 1.... seriously.... some people.

Someone's pre-empting a "minimum-post-count" competition methinks :p

Thanks for the reply's. Although I already tried the different combinations that I could.
Figured that the Virtual machine along and my own windows dosen't take that much load. So im using 1 disk for Virtual machine and my own OS.
And the 2 in raid0 for apps and games.
