I hope this is the right sub-forum to post this, but I think it´s related to the GPU.

So I have two systems here, one running a Vega64 and one on an RTX 2080 Super. Both updated to the latest drivers. I wanted to connect both to my (144hz freesync) AOC Agon AG241QX monitor.

If I use my HDMI cable to connect the Vega to the monitor I get intermittent blackscreens with no error message. It just drops the signal for 1-2 seconds and comes back, then drops again every 5 seconds. It is unusable like this. If I use the display port cable on the same Vega it works fine.
Now the witchcraft is, when I use the HDMI cable on my 2080 Super in the same HDMI port of the monitor it works fine all the way up to 1440p 144hz! While the Vega can´t even do 60hz with this cable.

How is that? Is my hdmi port on the Vega bad?

It´s not a big issue for me, for now I just use HDMI on the RTX and DP on the Vega but I´d like to figure out how that issue is even possible.
